Pour souligner la fin de la résidence Empreintes de cette année, Laura Vigo s’entretiendra avec la lauréate 2025, Lynn Kodeih. L’artiste libano-canadienne, qui s’intéresse aux rites du deuil dans la région de l’est de la Méditerranée, discutera de sa pratique et présentera son projet de recherche-création mené au MBAM. Celui-ci visait à redonner à certains objets de la collection du Musée leur fonction rituelle première.

To mark the end of the 2025 Impressions Residency, Laura Vigo will speak with winner Lynn Kodeih. The Lebanese-Canadian artist, whose work focuses on mourning in the Eastern Mediterranean region, will discuss her practice and present the research-creation project she carried out at the Museum with a view to restoring the original ceremonial functions to a selection of objects from the Museum’s collection.
